Case Study: Arm + Geely
Delivering Broadcast-Quality CGI in 7 DaysThe Challenge
Client: Arm
End Client: Geely Automotive
Timeline Range: 7 days from brief to delivery.
Venue: London conference keynote, 400-person audience.
Geely was launching their brand in the UK with a major conference in London. Their flagship vehicle featured Arm’s AI technology for enhancing the driver experience, and the keynote presentation needed to showcase these capabilities to a 400-strong audience of industry leaders, press and potential partners.
The presentation would be delivered across three screens (one main, two side screens), requiring a graphical explainer that would work seamlessly with the presenter’s live speech to bring Arm’s AI technology to life.
The Problem?
Geely had given Arm just seven days’ notice.
The Constraint
Timeline Breakdown:
• Day 1: Storyboard and planning
• Days 2-6: Build, render and iterate
• Day 7: Test and final amendments
For context, a project of this complexity would typically require 3-4 weeks minimum. The combination of technical complexity (visualising AI processing inside a chip), brand compliance (Arm’s strict guidelines), keynote-critical delivery (no margin for failure) and multi-screen coordination made this an exceptionally high-risk project.
Why did we take it on?
We knew we could deliver a higher quality set of assets than Arm could source anywhere else within the timeframe.

When the stakes are this high and the clock is this unforgiving, execution matters more than ideas.
Our Solution
Speed Without Compromise
We structured the project around parallel
execution and continuous feedback:

Day 1: Rapid Planning
• Storyboarded the full narrative arc
• Locked creative direction: a world inside a processing chip
• Defined section breakdowns for iterative delivery
• Confirmed Arm’s brand guidelines and technical requirements
Days 2-6: Build, Render, Iterate (Around the Clock)
• Internal team worked in shifts to maintain 24-hour momentum
• Delivered Work-in-Progress (WIP) renders for different sections as they were completed
• Client provided feedback on Section A while we built Section B
• Made amendments to approved sections while rendering new sequences
• No single big reveal, just continuous collaboration keeping everyone aligned

Day 7: Test and Refine
• Final technical tests across the three-screen venue setup
• Last-minute timing adjustments to sync with live speech
• Delivered final assets with time to spare
Creative Execution
Using Cinema 4D and After Effects, we created a visually immersive world inside a processing chip, bringing the abstract concept of AI processing to life in a way that was visually compelling (held attention across the 400-person audience), technically accurate (respected Arm’s brand and product integrity) and presentation-ready (timed perfectly with keynote speech).
The creative concept allowed us to visualise complex AI capabilities in a way that was instantly understandable, even for non-technical stakeholders.

The Outcome
Delivered: On time, on brief, on brand.
Client Response:
Both Geely and Arm were delighted with the results. The keynote presentation successfully introduced Geely’s UK launch and demonstrated Arm’s AI capabilities to a room full of industry decision-makers.
What This Project Demonstrates:
• Ability to execute under extreme time pressure without quality loss
• Collaborative iterative process that keeps high-stakes projects on track
• Technical and creative capability to translate complex technology into compelling visuals
• Around-the-clock execution when immovable deadlines demand it
Why This Matters:
For clients facing immovable deadlines (product launches, live events, partnership announcements), the real risk isn’t creative quality. It’s delivery certainty.
When you have 7 days to prepare for a moment that matters, you need a partner who stays calm under pressure, moves fast without cutting corners and delivers quality that survives high-level scrutiny.
This is what Emotive 3D does.
